Edward Mamuyac

Edward Mamuyac is an IT specialist for a local government unit and a dedicated sim racer who serves as the official backup driver for the 2026 AAP Onsite Endurance race. Since stepping into competitive virtual racing two years ago, he has established himself as a calm, analytical, and highly consistent contender on the grid.

His Story

Edward’s journey into motorsport started in 2024 at Monza Barcade alongside his close friend and fellow racer, Alenie Valera. What began as casual competitive sessions quickly evolved into a serious pursuit of racecraft, vehicle dynamics, and stint management. Balancing a demanding career in public sector IT with his passion for sim racing, Edward applies a highly methodical and data-driven approach to every lap, analyzing telemetry, refining telemetry setups, and optimizing race lines.

His consistency and composure under pressure quickly paid off, earning him multiple podium finishes across various local racing events. Beyond sprint pace, his ability to maintain steady lap times and adapt to changing track conditions made him a natural fit for endurance racing formats. Heading into 2026, Edward steps into a critical role on the team as the official Backup Driver for the AAP Onsite Endurance Race, bringing technical insight, reliable stint execution, and sharp strategic adaptability to the lineup.
