Round 2 of the AAP Online Races proved to be a valuable weekend of learning, adaptation, and great sportsmanship for our team. Competing across three different platforms, our drivers tackled tough weather, tight battles, and new machinery, taking away plenty of lessons to carry forward.
Here is how the races went across each category:
šļø F4 iRacing (AM) ā Circuito Navarra
Navarra was a great learning ground for our AM drivers as they continued to get accustomed to open-wheel racing.
Gerald Garcia:Ā Qualified P2Ā on the grid Ā and held the fastest lapĀ of the race!. After serving a drive-through / stop-and-go penalty for a false start, he dropped down the order but stayed patient and worked his way back up. On Lap 7, he caught up with Johann, where smooth team communication allowed Gerald through to push for track position, ultimately finishing 4th.
Johann Villena:Ā Had a sharp start, gaining positions on Lap 1. He showed great team awareness on Lap 7 by opening the door for Gerald and drove a clean, steady race to finish 7th.
Alenie Valera:Ā Focused on building her experience with the F4 car, driving a tidy and consistent race to gain great track time and finish 10th.
Note for the team:Ā A solid effort all around. Great work by GeraldĀ to keep his head down after the penalty, and hats off to JohannĀ and AlenieĀ for their focus and team-first mindset. Every lap in these cars is a step forward!
š OMR AM Class (Ford Mustang 2015 / Assetto Corsa) ā Zandvoort
Zandvoort served up changing conditions, shifting from a sunny Round 1 to a very foggy Round 2.
Round 1 (Sunny)
Sebastian GarciaĀ had a great getaway, climbing the order early on. He managed to secure 3rd placeĀ and drove a solid defensive stint to hold onto 4th place overallĀ at the line.

Shared strictly for team commentary, highlights, and reporting purposes. Alenie ValeraĀ held her ground well, managing a fun, respectful track battle against our Team Principal, who joined the grid for Round 1 to share in the experience.
Round 2 (Foggy)
The sudden drop of heavy fog made visibility extremely tricky for everyone. It was a clear reminder for us as a team to put in more practice time together under adverse weather conditions.
Our Team Principal opted out of Round 2 so his son could prepare for the upcoming Pro-AM session on their shared rig. A warm thank you to AAP and the organizersĀ for allowing our Team Principal to jump in for Round 1!
Shoutout to Alenie:Ā Big appreciation to Alenie for putting in daily practice leading up to the race. Her dedication and time spent preparing truly showed in her steady composure on track.
š OMR Pro-AM Class (Ford Mustang 2015 / Assetto Corsa) ā Zandvoort
A challenging session for our Pro-AM entry, where staying on track was an achievement in itself.
Johann Villena:Ā Showed great commitment by suiting up despite dealing with a cold. He gave it his best effort in Round 1 and pushed through the dense fog in Round 2 until the end.
Edward Mamuyac:Ā Worked hard through the difficult conditions, but unfortunately suffered an engine failure in Round 2, cutting his race short.
Encouragement:Ā Bad luck and illness are part of racing. Johann, thank you for toughing it out for the team while under the weather. Edward, mechanical issues happen to everyone; we reset and move on to the next one together. Rest up, both of you!
š LMU AM Class (LMGT3 McLaren 720Evo) ā Fuji Speedway
A rewarding outing at Fuji Speedway following weeks of dedicated preparation.
Gerald GarciaĀ qualified in P2. After losing a spot into Turn 1 on the opening lap, he kept calm, stayed patient, and reclaimed the lead on the final few turns of the circuit.
From there, he managed his pace well, built a comfortable gap, and brought the car home in P1.

Well done, Gerald!Ā This result reflects the time Gerald invested over the past three weeksāswitching between iRacing and LMU, practicing online, and participating in challenges at Fuji and Monza. The effort paid off with a smooth, well-executed run.
