🏁 Race Countdown Timer

Set the race duration and monitor the remaining race time throughout the event.

The race timer displays:

• Hours

• Minutes

• Seconds

• Milliseconds

The countdown is based on the continuously running race stopwatch.

⏱️ Continuous Race Timer

Maintain a continuous elapsed-time reference for the entire race.

The race stopwatch continues throughout the event rather than being reset whenever a driver changes.

This provides a consistent reference for recording driver stints and race events.

👤 Driver Stint Management

Track individual driver stints throughout the race.

For each driver, the application can maintain:

• Driver number

• Stint count

• Stint start time

• Stint end time

• Current stint duration

• Total accumulated driving time

• Driver's stint history

When a driver finishes a stint, the next driver can start their stint without resetting the overall race timer.

 

🔄 Driver Changes

Record every driver change during the race.

The application maintains the relationship between:

Race → Driver → Stint

allowing your team to review the complete driving history after the race.

📊 Driver Time Tracking

Monitor both:

Current Stint Time

and

Total Driver Time

This allows the team to see how long the current driver has been driving as well as the driver's accumulated time across multiple stints.

🚨 Incident Logging

Record incidents during the race and associate them with the relevant driver and driver stint.

Incident records can include:

• Date and time

• Driver involved

• Driver stint

• Incident type

• Pod/vehicle number associated with the incident

This provides an internal record that can be reviewed after the race.

💾 Automatic Race Data Saving

Race information is maintained locally on the computer.

The application saves the current race information, including:

• Race information

• Drivers

• Driver stints

• Stint timings

• Driver totals

• Incidents

• Current race state

The current race is maintained in a local CurrentRace.json file.

🔄 Race Recovery

If the application or computer unexpectedly shuts down during a race, the application can detect an existing CurrentRace.json file and restore the saved race state.

This allows the team to resume the race without manually rebuilding the race information.

The application can restore information such as:

• Race start

• Race duration

• Elapsed race time

• Current driver

• Current driver stint

• Driver stint counts

• Previously completed stints

• Driver accumulated time

• Recorded incidents

🗂️ Completed Race Records

When a race is officially stopped, the current race file is archived using the race start and end timestamps.

This allows teams to maintain a historical record of completed races.

📴 Fully Offline

No internet connection is required while using the application.

The application is designed for use at:

• Race tracks

• Karting facilities

• Sim racing events

• Endurance competitions

• Locations with limited or unreliable internet connectivity
