Gerald Garcia
By day, Gerald Garcia navigates the fast-paced world of enterprise software sales for a top IT vendor, servicing Australian market hours. The moment his shift ends, he trades client calls for cockpit telemetry, logging intense night sessions on iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate before bed.
Introduced to motorsports by his late father at an early age through karting and tuning family cars, Gerald carries that core legacy onto every track he enters. A familiar name at the top of the Monza Barcade Wheel-to-Wheel leaderboards and fresh off a 3rd Place podium finish in Round 1 of the 2026 AAP Endurance Cup, Gerald combines seasoned sim precision with an aggressive push toward his ultimate goal: stepping into real-world race cars.
His Story
Gerald Garcia’s passion for motorsports was forged in early childhood alongside his late father. Together, they spent weekends immersed in the sights, smells, and sounds of real-world racing, learning the art of karting and discovering how to extract every ounce of performance from their cars. Those foundational moments instilled in Gerald a deep appreciation for racecraft, mechanical feel, and precision driving.
Fast forward to today, Gerald balances a demanding professional career in software sales for a leading global IT vendor. Working Australian business hours means his days start early and end while the rest of the city is settling in. Rather than winding down passively, Gerald transitions straight into his second passion: late-night sim racing.
Strapping into his cockpit, equipped with a Moza R9 V2 direct-drive base, Moza FSR Formula steering wheel, SRP pedals, and a solid Next Level Racing frame. Gerald logs stint after stint on iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate, refining setups, dialing in braking markers, and pushing his virtual machinery to the edge before calling it a day.
That relentless nightly discipline quickly paid off in the local competitive scene. Becoming a dominant force at Monza Barcade, Gerald routinely locked in top-5 leaderboard times and earned multiple podium finishes in their wheel-to-wheel competitions.
His sharp racecraft and endurance composure earned him a drive in the 2026 AAP Endurance Cup, where he immediately proved his pace by securing a 3rd Place finish in Round 1 with AppFront Racing.
For Gerald, sim racing isn't just a high-level hobby, it’s the proving ground. Combining the technical instinct passed down by his father with the relentless work ethic honed on the rig, Gerald’s sights are firmly set on translating his esports success into a seat in real-world circuit racing.
