Round 3 of the AAP National Esports Championship (Circuit Edition) saw AF Racing taking on intense virtual tracks across multiple platforms. With high stakes, comeback drives, and dominant performances, our drivers proved their resilience on the grid.

Seb Garcia - Assetto Corsa (Amateur, Round 1)
Track: Batangas Racing Circuit
Car: Mazda MX-5 Miata
Race Summary: Seb fought hard after a chaotic Lap 1 encounter where a tricky corner allowed P2 and P3 to break away early. Despite losing touch with the lead pack in the opening lap, he kept his composure and pushed standard-setting pace to secure a strong P4 finish.
Johann Villena - Assetto Corsa Competizione (Amateur)
Track: Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Car: Porsche 911 GT3 R (2018)
Race Summary: Fresh off a recent hospital confinement due to influenza, Johann showcased incredible determination. Starting last on the 7-car grid, he systematically carved his way through the field. The highlight of his drive came 4 laps before the chequered flag, where he executed a bold, late-braking dive bomb to snatch P4 and hold it all the way to the line.
Gerald Garcia - Le Mans Ultimate (Amateur)
Track: Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portimão)
Car: Mercedes-AMG GT3
Race Summary: Pure dominance from lights out to the chequered flag. Gerald delivered a masterclass performance, putting on a clinic that saw him build a massive 13-second gap over P2 by the time he crossed the finish line. His relentless daily grind of 3 to 4 hours in online Le Mans Ultimate races paid off in full. Had Gerald joined Round 1, he would easily be sitting on the overall championship podium, a target we already have set for next year!
